The Cheese Collective is delighted to announce we’re now going to be running live in-person cheese events in London, partnered with some amazing British producers.
While virtual gatherings became second nature for most of us amid the pandemic, we’re waving goodbye to Zoom and can’t wait to meet some of our supporters face-to-face!
Our premise has always been to support artisan British producers, and we’ll be sticking to this by partnering with small breweries and cideries. Initially we'll be running cheese pairing events in London, but hope to go on tours around the country.
We’ll be working with these businesses to match our cheeses to their products and put on guided and informal talks on the pairings.
All our events will also include a raffle to raise money for our partners at The Trussell Trust - the UK’s largest food bank network.
To kick things off, we’ve got two amazing events already in the diary that we’d love you to join us at:
Wednesday 14 September – Cheese & Cider Tasting with Against The Grain Cidery
Each ticket costs £26.50 and includes:
- 5 samples of award-winning artisan British cheeses from The Cheese Collective
- 5 cider samples (5x 1/3 pints) from Against The Grain
- A guided and informal talk on the pairings from cheese expert Sam, and professional cider-maker Jono.
The event will also include a raffle to raise money for The Trussell Trust, the UK's largest food bank network.

Wednesday 21 September – Cheese & Beer Tasting with Southey Brewing Co
Ever wondered if a saison goes with a Stilton, a lager pairs with a Lancashire or a pale ale can handle the punch of a sharp cheddar? Come along to find out!
Join The Cheese Collective and Southey Brewing Co on Wednesday 21 September at Southey Brewing Co’s taproom from 19:30 to taste the best of British cheeses and beers.
Each ticket costs £25 and includes:
- 5 samples of award-winning artisan British cheeses from The Cheese Collective
- 5 beers (5x half pints) from Southey Brewing Co
- A guided and informal talk on the pairings from cheese expert Sam, and professional brewer Sam
